After 18 years in the fashion industry, Designer Lisa Kanouse is launching her own brand of children's apparel, Saurette, for Spring 2009. She started her career in fashion working as a freelance Photo Stylist for the Chicago Tribune and Marshal Fields. Those positions allowed her creative expression mixed with a lot of hardwork.She moved on to buying and eventually found Product Development where she stayed over 10 years creating and producing women's collection for Zaks off 5th, Macy's & Mary Company. These were wonderful experiences where she was able to gain a broad range of knowledge of the retail business".Over the last few years, after having children and shopping the stores for her little boys, she discovered how few modern pieces were available for kids. She wanted to offer parents such as herself,  an opportunity to purchase clothing that was modern, contemporary and more unique than what she was finding in the stores.This sparked the birth of Saurette".

Born of a desire to fuse her passion for business and design, zebi was founded by Stacy Phillips in 2006. Educated at Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and inspired by her three children, Stacy brings an entrepreneurial spirit and natural fashion sense to zebi.

Facts about Franka.

Designer Fanny Sundgren, with a solid backgorund in production for successful Swedish brand like H&M, Filippa K, Whyred, J Lindeberg and Dagmar, started Franka in 2006. This background give Franka StockHolm the know-how producing responsibly and understanding quality.

Siaomimi is created by designer Hilda Yim, Parson University School of Design graduate and past desginer for Anna Sui & DKNY. In, 2006 Hilda gave birth to her daughter Charisse who has a nickname "Siaomimi". Becoming inspired by her whole motherhood experience, Hilda could not wait to get started designing childrenswear.The Siaomimi collection reveals the quality of children's innocence & simplicity, but yet with strong individual character.Inspired by her own personal childhood experience,all of her prints are hand block printed exclusively for her collection.

She also loves creating subtle details in her designs, like applying handmade or crafty work.Quality is also very important to the collection, only the finest cotton or cotton cashmere are being used. Hilda also, design her own womenwear collection Shopaholic and Yim, and ws represented in USA and Japan.
